I have studied with Nancy Chartier over a span of years. I began with no experience and virtually no training in film acting. Nancy has provided not only knowledge & experience to help me expand my skills & confidence, but also gave me the support and counseling any inexperienced actor needs to get a start in the practical aspects of the business. Although I study with Michele Condrey, I have remained a student of Nancy's in order to keep access to her critical appraisals of my work, and to continue honing the basic skills that underly all acting. I consider Nancy to be a fine actress, a skilled coach, a knowledgeable advisor, and a trusted friend. - Phil Harrington
Having a theatre background, I came into Nancy's class with not one ounce of film technique. She taught me the first steps of the Meisner Method. She is so incredibly knowledgeable and forthcoming with instruction. She taught me how to prepare a script -- to bring my true self to the words written on the page. She has the ability to understand her students and what they need to bring out the best in their work. She is a gifted teacher and actor. - Kerri Navarro
