WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED? 4411 Belmont Avenue, Dallas, TX 75204. We are located across Central Expressway from the West Village off of Haskell Ave.
WHERE DO I PARK? You can park on the street in front, or in the parking lot on the LEFT SIDE only during the day. At night you can park on both sides of the lot. (Please do not leave laptops or GPS equipment in view)
WHAT ARE CLASS TIMES? Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 12:30 to 4:00 p.m. and 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. and Thursdays from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m.
AT WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE TO AUDIT? Auditing is available on Mondays and Tuesdays: Between 12:30 and 12:50 for day sessions and 5:30 to 5:50 for nights.
WHAT ARE YOUR PRICES? Owner, Michele Condrey, is $120 for 4 sessions total. Assistant Coach, Nancy Chartier, is $100 for 4 sessions total.
WHAT DOES THE ASSISTANT COACH DO? Nancy gets actors ready to move into Michele's classes. She starts each actor from the basics based on The Meisner Method of Acting
CAN I START DIRECTLY WITH MICHELE? Yes, if she has an available opening, her Associate has no one "ready" to move into that spot, or you are a more intermediate to advanced actor. Also, you would be asked to do a cold read of Michele's choosing at your audit.
WHAT DO CLASSES CONSIST OF? Class #1 is an on-camera audition. Class #2 is an on-camera memorized scene with a partner. Class #3 is an off-camera cold read with partner and/or acting exercises. Class #4 is an off-camera memorized class with partner. You work twice in every class and get critiqued twice, except for Class #1 in which you usually only do one read. Our goal is to make sure you get just as much cold read experience as you do memorized. And please remember, we specialize in film and television acting only.
WHAT IF I HAVE TO MISS A CLASS? Since we charge such reasonable rates, we do not refund money. However, you can always make that class up in any other class as long as you are taking the place of an absent actor. You must be a current member of The Michele Condrey Studio/R.E.A.C.T. to be able to make up a class.
