R.E.A.C.T. ACTOR ROBIN SIMMONS WAS NOMINATED  FOR BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS FOR THE INDEPENDENT SPIRIT AWARDS FOR HER ROLE IN "ROBBING PETER", along with Cate Blanchette and Virginia Madsen.

Hosted annually on the Saturday before the Oscars, the Independent Spirit Awards is the yin to the Oscars' yang - a celebration honoring filmmakers of independent vision.  Televised to 70 millions homes (via Bravo Cable Network and 33 million homes via the Independent Film Channel)

Past hosts have included Samuel L. Jackson, Queen Latifah, John Turturro, Jennifer Tilly and Buck Henry.

Liz Cardenas:  Lead role in the SAG sci-fi/horror feature film, "Serum" which is currently in Blockbuster, Hollywood Video, Movie Gallery and Netflix! Also a role in SAG film "Baghdad, Texas".  Lead role in the SAG short film "The Last Turn" as Tandee, a small time grifter.

Jay Prichard:  Replaced Jim Caviezel in the role of Leonard, Sr. in the movie "BAG".  Mr Caviezel had to bail out due to scheduling conflicts and the director was desperately trying to find an actor for the role.  No one could pull it off, until Jay!  Other credits include:  co-starring as Peter Merrick in "Having My Baby", supporting role as Dr. Miller in "Project Clear Vision", co-starring as stalker/killer Johnny in "Close Call", starring as serial killer Earl in "Nine Lives", supporting role as billionaire Andrew Merrick in "3 Lives of Nico", supporting as Officer Thomas in "The Pressure Switch", starring as alcoholic husband Jim in "Hard Rain", starring as Brother Al in "Like Brother Like Sun".

Lee Burns supporting role in the film "Once in a Lifetime" starring Heather Graham, Judd Nelson, Sean Astin, Catherine Bell, Paul Sorvino, Ed Asner & Ali McGraw. Co-starred in the mini-series "Gone But Not Forgotten" with Scott Glenn and Brooke Shields.  Supporting role in the Hallmark movie of the week "Wedding Daze".    Principal on "Days of Our Lives" on NBC & principal in "The Bold & Beautiful" on CBS.  Co-star in the new hit series "Skin" on FOX. Co-starring role in the "Young MacGyver" pilot for Paramount.  The supporting lead in the feature length SAG exhibition film "Clean" as Peter Best.  Co-starred with Luke Perry in the VH1 movie,"P.M.R.C." Miranda Martinez in Israel Luna's next feature film "1 to 3 For" as Claudia. A CompUSA sexual harassment video. In Prankster Productions' feature film "Finnegan's Falls". As "Miranda" in Israel Luna's new feature "Is Anybody There?". This film recent premiered at The Magnolia to a sold-out crowd. Mr. Luna was so impressed with Miranda's audition & work on his first film "Str8 Up", he wrote this role in his new film especially for her.
Supporting role of Angelle Anderson in Sylvia Ryenn Moore's indie "Just Breathe", as Rita Bennett in the SAG experimental film, "F.A.T." which has been submitted to the Sundance Film Festival, the diner waitress in "Numbers", Maria Valquez in "Fires of the Past", Momma in "A Song for Momma", and Melanie in "Straight Up".

Tom Marcantel:  As mob guy "Luigi" in the 35 mm short "Snowshoes". As Phill Armada in the DV short "By The Sword". As the doctor in the independent film "The Least of These".
